Google likes fresh content. New articles or new website pages are favored by Google because these pages bring the most up-to-date info. If you want to bring in more traffic to your site, always plan to add new content as often as possible.
Here are some of my tricks in shouting out to Google that my blog is ready for re-indexing:
1.
Blog and Ping
Blogsites are designed to allow you to easily add material to your site quickly and as frequently as you'd like. Pinging notifies a number of web services that keep track of blogs and
publish them. By pinging, you let the services know that your blog has
been updated.
I usually use the ping services of these websites:
Pinging tools are very simple to use. Just enter the URL of the specific page with the new content you want to be found and the ping tool will alert sites like Google Blog Search, Syndic8, Weblogs.com and others that you have new content ready to share with the world.
2. Status Updates
Post your new article/page's URL with the accompanying keyword-rich text on Google+, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other micro-blogging sites.
The Googlebot crawls a high PageRank (PR) website more often. If you are a blogger or webmaster
who update your website frequently, your site's newly added content and
links will greatly benefit from the Googlebot's priority crawling.
Posting your new article/page URL on a high PR and authority site like Facebook helps your
fresh content and links to be shown faster in the search engine because of indirect indexing.
I hope you learned a thing or two from this post. =)
